Graeme Murty will remain in charge of Rangers until the New Year
Rangers have confirmed Graeme Murty will remain in temporary charge until the new year after Derek McInnes decided to stay at Aberdeen.
McInnes snubbed the opportunity to speak to Rangers after deciding he had "unfinished business" at Aberdeen, according to their club chairman Stewart Milne.
Rangers have since "endorsed" Aberdeen's statement and insisted they sbobet mobile will only appoint someone "who feels he is ready for the job".
An official club statement read: "The position of Rangers manager requires an ability to win football matches and the mentality to cope with the demanding off-pitch environment that goes with being the Rangers manager.
"This is a critical aspect of our assessment of any candidate during the interview process."
Rangers confirmed they moved for McInnes after their last two games against Aberdeen, both victories, but were declined permission to speak to him - a decision they now claim to agree with.
Derek McInnes opted to stay at Aberdeen
"We endorse that sbobet mobile position because moving to a massive club like Rangers is a big step with concomitant risk," the statement continued.
"We continue to consider candidates but will only appoint someone in whom we have full confidence and who feels he is ready for the job.
"In the meantime, we have great confidence in Graeme Murty, who will continue as interim manager at least until the end of the year. The manner in which he has approached this task is a credit to himself and the club."Статистика: Публикувано на от thanloeuth — 08 Дек 2017 10:22
