New Pandora jewelry store opening in Monroeville

A new jewelry store will celebrate a grand opening Thursday at Monroeville Mall.

The 960-square-foot store is located on the second level of the shopping mall and will feature the store's brand-name offerings in rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and charms.

The company, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, was founded in 1982 and employs 17,800 people, including 12,800 people in Thailand where its jewelry is manufactured.

Monroeville Mall, operated by CBL & Associated Properties, is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., except Sundays when it is open from noon to 6 p.m.
