The weekend is almost here, and a number of must-have releases are headed your way. We’re back with our ongoing Sneakers Releasing This Weekend series to give you a full rundown of what you should cop in the near future ranging from the Nike VaporMax “Pure Platinum” restock, a handful of new Pharrell x adidas Tennis Hu options inspired by Stan Smith, the updated adidas ClimaCOOL series and much more.
Nike’s incredibly popular line continues to dominate Nike Sportswear shelves and the Beaverton Brand has shown absolutely no signs of slowing production. Next up for the Vapormax Flyknit 2.0 is Team Red/Game Royal colorway that will soon be made available in both men’s and women’s sizing. Utilizing the multi-color capabilities that the Flyknit-infused silhouette has, its upper sports a mixture of the two aforementioned colors to create another clean and simple look. Its semi-translucent sole unit features a decidedly blue hue while the heel cup ushers in Team Red.
Nike’s rollout of bright-colored, ladies-only iterations of their new Moc 2 continues as this bright “University Gold” colorway is set to drop this week. Featuring a bright gold Flyknit upper with a gold plastic heel cage, the laceless shoe also offers black Air Max branding on the tongue and reflective detailing on the lateral Swoosh and heel tab for a pop of style. The shoe’s look is rounded off with a crystal-clear Vapormax cushioning unit with more yellow accents and a checkerboard-patterned yellow insole.
The made its global debut back in March on Air Max Day in the clean and cool “Pure Platinum” colorway for both men and women. Since then, Nike’s relentless push of the Vapormax has led to an eclectic mix of colorways hitting store shelves, but not have the impact quite like the one that started it all.
