REAL Madrid players feel like their La Liga title hopes are “sinking” into a
ทางเข้า sbo black hole after they let a 2-1 lead against Celta Vigo slip through their fingers in the final eight minutes, leaving them 16 points adrift of leaders Barcelona.
Such was the frustration, Spanish outlet Marca quoted Marcelo as saying his side was “f***ing sunk” after the game.
“We’re sad and we’re f***ing sunk,” Marcelo was quoted as saying.
“We’re trying to get out of this mess and we’re working to do that, but we don’t like this at all.
“It’s difficult because the more matches you draw or lose, the more the pressure increases.
“We can’t do anything else. We do what we can, we try to play good football, score goals and circulate the ball, but it’s not happening for us.”
The defender promised Real would continue to fight throughout the season.
“There’s no choice but to show your best face and fight,” he continued.
“Fight and give your best so you can win.”
Real were leading with eight minutes to go against Celta after Gareth Bale’s quick-fire double had overturned Daniel Wass’ opening strike.
But Maxi Gomez’s headed goal in the 82nd minute ensured the match finished in a 2-2 draw and piled more pain on Zinedine Zidane’s side, who had lost 3-0 to archrivals and runaway leaders Barca in their last Liga outing.
