This time , Minnesota adds former AAF and Green Bay Packer linebacker Greer Martini. The other player being signed is former San Diego Fleet safety Jordan Martin, according to Mike Garafolo. This will be Martin’s first NFL contract. He played his college ball with Toledo and played eight games with Syracuse. Martin has experience at the cornerback position, as he’s started in 14 games there while at Toledo. He made the move to Safety while with the Orange, where he started in five games. Here’s an interception he had while in the AAF:Martini, the Notre Dame Alum, was tied for fifth in the AAF with 55 tackles before the league pumped the brakes on the season. Martini joined the Green Bay Packers practice squad last season as a undrafted free agent. The 23-year-old played in all four preseason games where he recorded 13 tackles.
