The Air Max 1 Jewel Blue White is set to launch on the 13th of July. This new release is in perfect time for Summer and set to sell out in minutes. The iconic renditions that first showcased the Jewel motif, this design features a chunky embossed Swoosh.



Premium white compliments this pair with blue coloured mudguards and the same tonal shade used for the branding at the rear. What sets the new version apart from the classic is the sole unit? a visible blue Max Air unit and a translucent outsole.



Nike re-releases a 1997 colorway, the Nike Air Max 1 Jewel 'University Blue'. These sneakers feature the classic style of the first Air Max with a premium leather upper, adding new details such as the translucent sole with an oversized logo, blue detailing in the mudguard and the small embossed swoosh that gives the name to the shoe.


In case you forgot, 2017 is the 30th Anniversary of the Air Max 1. The big Air Max Day celebration that included the re-release of the atmos x Air Max 1 as well as the “Master” edition seems like ages ago, but Nike has been pumping out some top-shelf colorways of the original Air Max shoe.
