Fuller and Keke Coutee are all active against the Dallas Cowboys despite dealing with injuries.Miller dealt with a chest injury this week and Fuller and Coutee had hamstring injuries. Cornerback Aaron Colvin and linebacker Brian Peters are out on Sunday night with ankle injuries.Inactive for the Cowboys is linebacker Sean Lee , who has a hamstring injury. The Cowboys were also without four-time Pro Bowl center Travis Frederick, who was placed on the non-football illness list on Saturday with a nerve condition, and receiver Terrance Williams, who was placed on injured reserve Saturday with a foot injury.Also inactive for Houston are WR Vycint Smith, LB Daeshon Hall, T David Sharpe and Des Carlos Watkins and Christian Covington.Other inactives for Dallas are QB Mike White, G Xavier Su'a-Filo, TE Dalton Schultz, DL David Irving and DT Maliek Collins. Fourth QuarterThe Cowboys offense got one last shot to get back into the game but their last drive was just another massive offensive failure. After getting his team down to Titans territory, Dak throws the ball out of the end zone on 4th down. Cowboys lose 28-14 and now the screams will get even louder after that performance.Tennessee is quickly inside of Dallas territory and Dion Lewis gets them the Cowboys-30. The Cowboys defense is able to get to Mariota but on third and 6, it’s another conversion for the Titans to get inside the red zone. The Titans are 9 of 12 on third down and carving Dallas up. Marcus Mariota keeps it, up the middle for a nine-yard score giveing the Titans a two touchdown lead. 28-14 Titans and this one’s getting ugly.The Cowboys defense holds the Titans to a field goal attempt that Ryan Succop missed off the upright. The Cowboys get off the field without further damage but now the offense must respond. Of course, they don’t as Dak runs out of bounds behind the line then the Titans force the Cowboys off the field when Harold Landry sacks Prescott. It’s the fourth sack given up on the night.After an incompletion on a deep attempt, Dion Lewis picks up the 2nd and 10, Titans are driving toward a two-score lead. They get an extra 15-yards on an extremely questionable personal foul call. As Mariota slides to give himself up , Vander Esch gets flagged and everyone is confused. Third QuarterThe Cowboys offense has no answer and the Titans get the ball back leading by a touchdown. Anthony Brown gets a nice tackle for loss to force a third and long. The Titans convert on 3rd and 8 with a screen pass and we’re heading to the fourth quarter.Titans waste no time as they take advantage of the short field, Jonnu Smith scores the Titans touchdown. Tennessee leads Dallas 21-14.Cowboys rookie Michael Gallup gets the offense going with a 20-yard gain on 3rd and 3. Connor Williams is called for a hold on the next play, La’el Collins picks up a false start, and the Titans strip-sack Dak Prescott on third and long. The officials blew the whistle before the fumble but alas it’s ruled a fumble. The Cowboys offense just continues to put themselves in no-win situations.Titans picked up right where they left off as Mariota finds his man on a crossing route, Sean Lee went down after the play. Lee heads to the locker room in what appears to be a reaggravation of that hamstring injury. Facing 3rd and 9, defensive tackle Daniel Ross SACKS Mariota and gets the defense off the field.HALFTIMESecond QuarterTyrone Crawford SACKS Marcus Mariota to send this one to the half. Cowboys and Titans tied at 14.Dak Prescott on the keeper for a short gain to start the two-minute drill. Deonte Thompson makes a rare appearance to keep the Cowboys driving. Dak connects with Amari Cooper to set up the offense in position to score. And score they do with a pass from Dak to Allen Hurns for the game-tying TOUCHDOWN! Dion Lewis scampers into the end zone and the Titans take a 14-7 lead with four minutes left in the half.The Titans offense converts their fifth-straight third down and suddenly the Cowboys defense needs to tighten up. Dion Lewis tries to make something happen but is tackled for a loss, making it 3rd and 10 for the Titans. Make it six-straight third down conversions on 38-yard pass by Mariota. The Cowboys next drive starts off well with Zeke finding room to run. On 3rd and 6, Dak finds Cooper for the first down but Blake Jarwin is called for offensive pass interference. Now, it’s 3rd and 16, the Cowboys don’t convert and it’s punt time. Where have we seen this before? Another drive stalled at the hands of their own.On 3rd and 1, Mariota gets Tyrone Crawford to bite hard on the fake handoff to get it himself. Dion Lewis breaks a nice run to set up the Titans inside the 10-yard line, Henry ties the game on a goal-line touchdown run. Cowboys failure to capitalize gets the Titans right back in the game.First QuarterOn a first down throw from Mariota, Cowboys challenge the catch but it stands. On 3rd and 9, Mariota converts on a pass over the middle. Titans are driving as the first quarter ends down seven.Leighton Vander Esch blows up a Titans receiver and the ball comes loose with Jaylon Smith recovering what looks to be a third fumble. However, on the review , it’s overturned as the receiver never had possession. On the ensuing Titans drive, Mariota finds his receiver on a textbook throw to the sideline. However, Mariota and Dion Lewis get mixed up on the exchange and it’s another Titans fumble, recovered by Jaylon Smith! Ezekiel Elliott busts it wide open on a 37-yard screen pass to set the Cowboys up in the red zone. Dak Prescott throws the ball to Amari Cooper, in the end zone, while he’s double-covered. Titans Kevin Byard with the interception in the end zone on a ball that Dak should have never thrown.A few Zeke runs later, Dak connects with Amari Cooper for the TOUCHDOWN! Cowboys defense lays it up for the offense to complete the redemption, 7-0 Cowboys.On the Titans first drive, Jaylon Smith was flagged for a ticky-tack pass interference call. However, DeMarcus Lawrence stripped Marcus Mariota a few plays later and it bounced through many hands before Sean Lee recovered it at the 10-yard line. The Cowboys started with the football in their snazzy blue and white combo. On back-to-back plays, the Cowboys pick up first downs with a 10-yard run by Ezekiel Elliott and an 11-yard catch by new receiver, Amari Cooper. Michael Gallup also picked up nice yardage too and Zeke broke off another big run to get the Cowboys in position. Unfortunately, the drive stalled after Zeke got tripped up and Dak Prescott couldn’t connect with Cooper in the end zone. If you squint enough the Titans and Cowboys are two teams that look very similar and both come in 3-4 looking for a win. The Cowboys have played well at home but have struggled and lost all four road games this season. Both teams are also coming off rest where the Cowboys made significant changes to their offense. Dallas traded their 2019 first-round pick to the Raiders for receiver Amari Cooper, hoping that he can be the top receiving target their offense desperately needs. The Cowboys also fired their offensive line coach and promoted Marc Colombo, who isn’t too far removed from his former playing days in Dallas. Will it be enough to jump-start this Cowboys offense in a wide open NFC East?The Titans have struggled to find their identity on offense led by Marcus Mariota and Derrick Henry. The Cowboys defense won’t be the greatest draw for this Tennessee offense as they are one of the most stout defenses in the league. The Titans also have a decent unit on the defensive side of the ball. Though they may be one of the older defenses in the NFL, this Titans veteran group led by Jurrell Casey can still get it done. Two teams that really need to get in the win column but may find it hard to move the ball on offense. Tonight will also feature one of the greatest Cowboys in history make his return home as Jason Witten calls his first Cowboys game as part of the Monday Night Football commentary team.
