Erik Lamela could make his return from injury against Leicester
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed both Erik Lamela ทางเข้า sbo and Danny Rose and are in contention to face Leicester on Tuesday.
Lamela has been sidelined with a number of hip injuries for over a year, while Rose only recently made his return to first-team duties after a long-term knee injury.
However, both could play a part against the Foxes as Spurs look to maintain their fading title challenge at the King Power Stadium.It's good news because Lamela is in contention for tomorrow and after training today he told us he feels good and said 'okay I am ready to move on and be available if you want'," said Pochettino.
I think it is so important because we have a very busy schedule ahead."
Rose made his return from injury against Real Madrid in the Champions League last month but was omitted from Tottenham's matchday squad for Saturday's 1-1 draw with West Brom.
The England international has been linked with a move away from the north London club but Pochettino insists the defender remains firmly part of his plans.
Danny Rose could also feature against the Foxes
"He understands perfectly that we are caring for him," said Pochettino. "He played against Dortmund but he needs to build up, getting better every week.
"My decision, not only with Danny but with everyone, is to care for them - to try and get a performance at the level we want and to also benefit them.
"It is okay because he was training during the week and we believe he is available for tomorrow."
Tottenham have struggled to keep pace with runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City in recent weeks and the gap between Spurs and City is now 13 points after the recent draw with West Brom.
Pochettino admits his side could already be out of the title race and the Argentine knows anything other ทางเข้า sbo than a win at Leicester on Tuesday night will almost certainly end the club's hopes of a first league crown for 57 years."It is true that there is a great gap between Manchester City and the rest of the contenders," said Pochettino, who believes the side are continuing to improve despite their recent dip in form.
"We are in a similar position to last season at the same point but we finished first in the Champions League [group stage] this season and last season we were out.
"Manchester City have improved a lot from last season. The gap is massive but we will see what happens. We need to believe and try to win games. If we don't win [against Leicester] - it is difficult to be a contender."

Tottenham qualified for the knockout stage of the Champions League after securing top spot in Group H ahead of Real Madrid, and Pochettino believes the club's form in Europe proves his side are improving overall.
"In the Champions League we proved this a lot," he said. "If you compare last season to this season, the improvement is real.
"In the Premier League, if you compare the stats, playing not in our home - we have the same points.
"The reality is the circumstances are different to last season. Every club works to improve their squad but for us it is the same - we have our own project and I think we are happy with how we are working."
