As part of the standout colored boost pack, this with a core black boost is featured once again, as it’s set to make its debut in just a couple of days. The lifestyle silhouette is simply composed of a grey/black micro-rib knitted woven upper, with more tonal black accents adorning its distinctive lacing cage system, heel badge, EVA insert on the rear and signature full-length sole unit to round out its stealthy design.
Last month we saw the make its debut in a variety of colorways for men and women. This weekend the revamped NMD returns with a new feature. Dropping in this Core Black colorway, the adidas NMD XR1 features a breathable and flexible Primeknit upper for an enhanced fit along with moulded TPU quarter panels, EVA midsole plugs, and a blacked out Boost midsole, a first for the NMD XR1.
Adidas will be giving us another colorway of the all-new next weekend as a part of their NMD Colored Boost Pack. Releasing alongside an all-black and an all-red version of the original NMD, this will mark the first time that the NMD XR1 releases with a colored Boost midsole. As you can see in the images above, this modified version of the new popular adidas runner gets dressed in black from head to toe and also gets hit with suede detailing on the tongue patch and the heel tab.
In a couple of weeks we’ll be seeing the next arrive at retailers as the Core Black pair that you see above will be making its debut. Already having released in a handful of colorways last month, the NMD XR1 returns for the month of September in a sleek Core Black colorway that features hits of Footwear White on the micro-rib knitted woven upper. A Black Boost midsole with black EVA inserts adds to the almost monochromatic look.
Last rendered in cyan, the women’s is introduced in a more subdued colorway this season, now consisting of university blue. Flaunting its defining primeknit construction in a mixture of blue and grey tones, more tonal blue hits adorn the signature TPU lacing cage apparatus across its side panels, alongside respective branding on the tongue and rear. In addition, pops of red are utilized for its heel pull tabs, while a full-length boost sole unit in white finishes off the profile.
