Nike Air More Uptempo Sale
Nike’s new Air Max 720 unit has just appeared on one of the most audacious sneakers in history. The basketball shoe, firmly ingrained into our memories thanks to the oversized AIR on the upper, will return with an all new cushioning ride in the form of the brand’s newly innovated full-length Air bag. An even bolder approach to the lettering also debuts as “MAX” appears on the lateral side of the shoe to fully spell out the game-changing innovation.
Another week, another nostalgic retro 90s hoops selection makes its way into the news, set to touch down for a new generation of hoopers. This week, Scottie Pippen’s finale – the Air Max Uptempo 97 – is making a comeback in a decidedly dark color scheme, ushering in black and navy. Much like the other Uptempo varieties, it’s upper grabs most of the attention, utilizing a boisterous and eye-catching construction as it’s focal point. Air branding takes shape on its lateral midfoot, sporting a quick touch of white on its embroidery to break up its dark aesthetic.
Nike’s 1996 basketball retro is back once again in one of its brightest colorways to date. Dubbed the “Hot Punch” version, this women’s exclusive selection ushers in black on its leather upper, but then elects to add Hot Punch, Volt, and an equally loud orange instep to elements of the sneaker. Featured on pieces the likes of its “AIR” and Nike branding, as well as the instep, this pair would be a welcomed addition to any female sneakerhead’s collection.
Now, the loud sneaker is back once again with a color scheme that serves as a nod to the Georgetown Hoyas. The Hoyas were inarguably one of the top college basketball programs in the 80s and 90s, with personalities the likes of Patrick Ewing and head coach John Thompson corralling the spotlight. Dressed in Cool Grey and Midnight Navy, this bold basketball offering will give fans of other former Big East teams nightmares that remind them of having to go up against one of the nation's toughest teams.
